The word stenography comes from the Greek and it means “narrow writing”, which it was use to identify shorthand systems of writing when meetings and conversations were transcribed by hand. I don’t know if stenography is still in use, at least as shorthand since it has been replaced by machines, but this SUNEE 2Pk Steno Pads 6x9 60 Sheets Spiral sure is a welcome visitor from the past. It is the right size of the steno pad and it is divided in the middle, so designed to allow writers to move quickly over the page. To me, it gives me the advantage of having two columns that can be paired textually, as in inventory tasks, identification of any classification, and such. I can also use it as a ToDo pad where, in one column I write the ToDo and in the other the actions taken. The cover is hard cardboard with what look like a plastic lamination, which provides some protection against liquid spills. The perforations are square and they provide for a cleaner page removal when compared to the round perforations. I tested for bleeding and the pages, although thin, do not bleed, only mark. I like these steno pads. Try them and you’ll find lots of uses.

These are perfectly fine pads. I rate them as average because I compared them to an old steno pad I had lying around. Compared to a "name brand" pad that is probably thirty years old, these have fewer sheets and the back cardboard is much thinner and flimsier. Maybe this is an unfair comparison, but I really noticed it right away. If I was holding these pads in my hand taking notes, it probably would be unsatisfactory. But for general use they are fine.

There are two steno pads in this package with 60 pages each. The paper is white and fairly light-weight. The cardboard back on each pad is also light-weight, so it won’t offer a lot of support if it isn’t sitting on a solid surface. Nevertheless, these pads are very versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as note taking, lists, or even causal journaling. For two pads, this set is very reasonably priced and for my purposes, these steno pads will be quite adequate. But, for someone who needs a sturdy writing surface with heavier paper, they could be disappointing. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Very nice pack of two steno pads. I use them to chat notes down make shopping lists, to do list for the day or just doodling. If you still know shorthand, it would be very effective for that. Not a bad price for a pack too, and the quality is OK maybe a bit thin on the cover and paper.

Solid notebooks. The spiral is of good quality, the paper is not too thin, and really white. I just wish there were more pages, but apart from that no complaints.

They'll work fine for writing on, even have a line to separate written items.

I love steno pads for everyday use. For some reason they just feel more organized to me. I like that the cover and paper flips up and I love the line down the middle that helps me make organized lists or notes. Sure, I can draw my own line or just use the entire page from side to side, but they've done the work for me and with a lot of my notes or lists it's easier to use the half page style. It just works for me.These are made well, the paper is normal thickness, I don't see through to the next page. The only complaint I have is that the back cover is a little too flexible. It doesn't have to be fully hard, but something with a little stiffness really helps if I'm not at a desk or table when I'm writing. But that's just a small complaint since the notepad is well made a works just fine. It's a great size for taking notes and price is very low for two notepads.
