Installation was a breeze after removing the Freedom tops. Each handle is installed on the roll bar with three Velcro straps, one for the passenger and the other for the driver. Took about 5 minutes. Excellent for holding on when off pavement.

Bought two sets for each seat. Velcro makes for easy install, but not sure how long they'll last. Useful when getting in and out or holding on to something when the doors are off.

I have been using these hand grips for 9 years. Moved them from one Jeep to another. Never failed. Works well for extreme offroading and makes it easy to enter and exit the Jeep.

These are excellent grab handles for the Jeep.Before I purchased my Jeep I did a bunch of research on comfort items. During the test drive my wife noted the lack of a grab handle (she likes having one right near her head, not sure why, makes her more comfortable). Looking around at the various options, I liked how this one had a clear top and three straps that should make it anchor better.Installed.WOW! Does it anchor better. Come to find out, the model Jeep I purchased (Willys) came with Jeep branded straps, so I didn't need these. Instead, I handed them to my son who put them on his old Rubicon. They are way, way, better than the Jeep branded straps. The wrap around part and the three anchor points make a world of difference. If you don't mind your straps sliding all over the place, causing wear on the roll bar cover, fine. If you want it to go to one spot and stay there, this is what you want.Now, I just need the wife to loosen the purse strings so I can buy a second pair for my Jeep.

Fair price for a seemingly good product. They feel durable and well made. I don't know if anyone will understand what I mean but I ran the velcro through the loops attached to the actual handles so that the force of your pull is dispersed through both straps instead of the one they have it running through. Very vague, I know but you'll understand during install.Overall, they look and function great. Do recommend.

Rugged Ridge's Ultimate Grab Handles are definitely high quality and will last for a loooong time. I believe these to be the best quality grab handles out there today. I have to admit, Rugged Ridge really has their stuff together! They weren't always known for making high quality equipment but they have come a long way in the past few years to shed that "bargain basement" image. These grab handles are excellent quality, easy to install, and look fantastic. If you are on the fence, please do yourself a favor and pick these up! I can tell you that I research everything I purchase and these are excellent grab handles. My daughters grab onto these and do pull-ups and swing on them. If they were of lessor quality then I would tell them to stop but I have absolutely no problem with letting them hang from these as I am completely confident they are built tough enough to withstand anything my kids can throw at them.

These are well made and extremely easy to install. My husband was amazed at how easy they were to install. We bought 2 sets. One for the front and the other set for the roll bar to help get out of the back seat. The grips are a sturdy material not like the foam type, which we tried and didn't like. Sturdy is the name of the game with Jeeps. These are perfect. When our son saw them he asked for two pairs for his birthday to put on his new 4-door Jeep. And he is very picky about what he has on his Jeep. His Jeep is much higher than ours and these grips help his children and wife get in and out much easier now. The grips help them just like they help this Grandmommy and her friends. Their strength and durability have shown to be great for all sizes and ages of people. Avoid the foam type and rely on these being perfect.

I got these because they were from Rugged Ridge, (which is a good company that manufactures high quality Jeep accessories as well as other 4x4 stuff I'm sure.) and I was not disappointed with them. I own a 03 Wrangler and one of the few drawbacks to these vehicles is that it is difficult for some people to get into and out of the backseat. I got this pair of handles and put one on the center top roll bar (between the sound pods) and that gives you something to grab onto to get up into the back. The other I placed in the front on the passenger side roll bar, to give something to hold on to when you are exiting the vehicle. They are nearly impossible to install with the top up however so I would definitely recommend you take the top down for easier installation. There is no reason to go with the higher priced ones from companies like Mastercraft, because these do the trick and look more like original equipment from the lack of a tacky name brand being printed on them. I also steered clear of the cheaper ones because if I have my friends and family grabbing these things and using them for support getting out of a lifted Jeep and they gave way, that would be one rough fall! Overall these are your best bet if you find a good deal on the rugged ridge grab handles by all means purchase them! You can put them about anywhere you want I just made some suggestions as for mounting locations, but they are adjustable and will fit anywhere you need a handle.
