Perfect for my mom to get in and out of the car. She is 5”3’ and cars have little support bars or handles for a smaller person to have assistance. She can manage moving her lower region by using it to pivot her lower body. Also she is more confident getting in and out of the cars

We used it for the first time yesterday and couldn’t believe how much easier it made getting in and out of the car. It fits securely into the door frame and stays in place. It’s very sturdy. When you're done, just pop it out, and it stores conveniently in the door pocket. Plus, it has a few other valuable features.The handle feels very comfortable to grip, and the strap is incredibly sturdy, It’s also an excellent tool for seniors!

My grandma has mobility issues, and I noticed she struggles when getting out of cars. I need a little help getting in and out of the car these days. I have seen these for a while and decided to give them a try. Product arrived quickly and and is well made. No sharp corners to cut or scratch me when using, (the glass breaker point on the end goes into the latch). This tool is a great help in getting up and works well. Looking at the item, there are 2 small screws that hold the metal to the plastic handle. While it is not cheaply made, I wonder just how much weight these can really hold. I don't plan the stand on the handle to find out but it would probably hold me for a few minutes. Not that it needs to do that. I am sure I will never max the weight limit in pulling myself up. There is really only one main issue with this handle and that is the length. I have a small car and the handle comes out about 6-7 inches and partially blocks my exit of the vehicle. Not a major issue but I do have to sort of stay over to the right side to get out without bumping into the handle. It is working good for me so far and I will come back in a few months to update my review if needed. If you are like me and need a little extra to get out of the car, certainly give these a try. I can recommend, especially if you have a full size car or truck.

I was supposed to get two items, the door cane and the strap. I didn’t get the strap, which was the item I wanted most.

I give 4 stars because it shifts but it does work. My dad has one n half legs and it helps him and I get him in and out of the car .
