This has been a godsend for reading in bed at night. I have neuropathy and constantly holding a book up and the pages open with my hands was causing me to get hand cramps and numbness. Now I can lay comfortably and rest my book on this while allowing my arms to relax. I can't believe it took me so long to make the jump to get a product like this!

This is a lap pillow with a flat top that allows you to read a book, work on a laptop, even hold your phone hands free. The pillow side is very comfortable to have on the lap. The pink pillow cover can be removed for washing. I love it because it helps you to be able to sit correct without putting so much pressure on the neck and back but still use my phone. It's not heavy at all even though the flat surface is leather. Easy to clean the leather part, just wipe it down. It's also the perfect size, not too big or small. Big enough to hold a average sized laptop. You can use it in the car too, for those long road trips. Overall it looks good and functions well.

I initially thought that this was not going to be as useful as it has become. There are many times when I am reclining and need to have what I am focusing on propped up and I had been using makeshift pillow, which is fine, it just requires a lot of... not moving. it wasn't until I had this that I realized just how makeshift my former solution was.this is soft and lightweight, yet sturdy. the platform is a good size without being overwhelming. The shelf is great to stand a book or electronic device (iPad or Kindle in my case). I hadn't thought that the little wire page holders would be my thing, but they really come in handy with holding a book open without having it keep your hand on it all the time.Additionally, I have found that it is not a bad laptop stand on the couch. The plastic shelf is a little annoying in this case, but I have gotten used to it. All in all, I am thrilled with this and unfortunately for me, so is my daughter! I find that she has walked off with it half the time I go to use it!

I bought a lap desk here on Amazon eons ago. My husband and I swap it back and forth.I do have another one in the bedroom, but he doesn’t like it. Poor fella.I got tired of having to give mine up so he could work. His job is hybrid, and when he needs it, he needs it.I finally decided to get this situation fixed. Iordered an additional one.My intention was to tell him to pick the one he preferred, and I’d keep the other one.As soon as it came in, he put it on his lap and put his computer on it and he said, I like this one better than yours. I was thoroughly delighted. My husband is a picky person. He finds fault with most things. He has only praise for the desk.It’s firm, so when you put your computer on it, it doesn’t collapse into your lap like most do. My husband said that he no longer has to bend over to try and type. I didn’t realize he had been doing that, so I’m also thankful he’s no longer struggling.It’s really soft.Even though it’s firm, it’s soft. The portion touching your lap is soft enough to put it on bare legs in shorts.The top is nice and the stopper at the bottom keeps things nice and in place.It’s big enough for a full size computer to fit on it.I’m really glad that I got this lap desk.Now, we each have one that we love and there’s no more having to stop what I’m doing to give mine to him.He loves it. He’s had it out every single day since it arrived. If it can impress my husband who can find something wrong with just about everything, I must recommend it 100%.I chose the gray, just in case he wanted it, but at the time I ordered mine, it also came in pink.If you need a lap desk, you won’t regret purchasing this one.

This is so comfortable and soft. I was worried it might be too heavy, but it's very light weight. The cover zips off to be washed. There's a little shelf at the bottom to rest you book or tablet on. And the cover on the area where the book or tablet rests is textured so the item won't slip. This would be especially useful with a laptop that would need extra help staying in place since a laptop could be heavier than a book. I put my phone on it, which is smaller, and it stayed in place because of the texture of the cover. From out of the little support shelf at the bottom, you can pull two small metal arms that will hold the pages of a book in place so the pages won't flap in the wind if you're outside or at the beach. This is really a good item for reading or working crosswords or any use of a book or magazine. It's large enough for the average size hardback book. I'm enjoying this very much.
