Blade is not as sharp as I expected it too be. I had to sharpen it some.For the price, well worth the money.

This paper cutter is made nearly of all metal, the guillotine handle plastic. While it is sharp and it does cut small stacks just fine, it's impossible to cut a single sheet of regular paper without cutting it crooked or the paper bends halfway through and you can't cut it at all assuming it didn't ruin your paper. Heavier stock doesn't quite bend with a single sheet so it's doable. Stacks can move on you while cutting so be careful.The cutting size is roughly 10x10, most dimensions were for the overall size, not just the cut size like it should. A bit too small to cut 12 inch square scrapbook paper or an 8.5x11 piece of paper (the 11 inch side). Ok for smaller jobs. If you are looking to cut thin scrap I would not recommend it.
