I had replaced my ice maker but still I had no ice. The valve that was on my fridge had gone bad and this little valve replaced it, everything is working perfectly now. I don't believe that this was designed for my refrigerator but they're all about the same. I have a Frigidaire and it's one of the like rental fridge models, it's small, much smaller than your traditional fridge. It mounted up just fine, but like I said it did not say it specifically fit this fridge. I feel like this valve fits a broad range of refrigerators and if yours looks like this chances are it will work. I haven't had any leaks and replacing. It took about 5 minutes. Anybody can replace this if you just have a crescent wrench or a pair of pliers. Overall, I can definitely recommend this.
