It is a good value and fits good but it is not pure white. It has a pink tint to it.

Arrived on time, easy to install, great fit. Cheaper than the local appliance stores and going through the maker of the fridge. Would definately order again. Kept the current screws from my broken handle to use and looks good.

We were unable to locate the correct replacement for WR12X29327, unless we wanted to pay $170 for a refrigerator door handle. After measuring very carefully, we found that the dimensions were the same, even though the handles are different, so we took a chance and ordered this one. The bottom of the handle is not the same as our original, but we were able to attach it simply enough. It works! Unfortunately we were not able to use the freezer door handle, because it could not fit properly. But that didn’t matter. We are just happy to have a fridge door handle again, and for less than $22.00. The attached photo illustrates how the new refrigerator door handle does not match up with the freezer door handle. If that doesn’t bother you, save yourself $150 and get this one.

Because of the design problems mentioned in other reviews (handle weak in the area of the screw holes), I made an adjustment that I hope will strengthen the part against easy breakage. Using the new part, I made a paper pattern of the part, at its contact with the refrigerator -- a single piece of paper -- the outline of the upper contact (with screw holes marked), a fold, and an outline of the lower contact. If you were to cut out the pattern, and fold it, it would cover the exact area the part will connect to on the refrigerator, and the location of the screws. I used the pattern to cut out a matching piece of an aluminum beverage can. I CAREFULLY folded the aluminum piece and checked that it appropriately covered the contact area of the new handle. I CAREFULLY used superglue to the area of the handle, and pressed the aluminum to it. I managed glue the aluminum to the plastic tightly, without gluing my fingers to it :-) I screwed the handle onto the refrigerator with the hope that the forces applied to the handle will be distributed enough to reduce the risk of breaking the new handle. For the money (less than $20), there is no better purchase than this pair of door handles. I only needed the refrigerator handle and did not replace the freezer handle, so I guess I just have an extra part in case that one ever goes. The installation requires you to take off the screws and cap from the old handle and save them, because the replacement parts do not include screws. That part is pretty straightforward and just requires a Phillips-head screwdriver and a hex key set, maybe a knife to pry off the screw cap from the bottom screw. The replacement matched my old white handle in look and quality. It's vinyl, not cheap plastic. You can see the old part that broke and my replacement handle in one of the photos above.Once installed, the handle works and looks like new. My old handle broke after 8 years of use where one of the screws goes. I assume the new one will last as long if not longer.

Purchased this item after reading bad reviews of people buying the genuine GE door handle replacement from GE and comments about it being of poor quality, inferior design and high pricing. So far, I am very happy with my decision to buy this unit and I hope I never have to use the Lifetime warranty it comes with! Free shipping and expeditious delivery service made the purchase complete.Comes with 2 handles one for fridge and other for freezer. Only needed the fridge handle. Fit my 18 cu. ft. GE top freezer model perfectly and handle was easy to install. I used the existing screws from old broken handle (item does not come with hardware) . Color is a gloss white and not a perfect color match to the original GE handles but maybe a shade or two lighter. Not an issue really for me. If it is, you can swap both out when your are completing the installation so they match up colorwise. Also these door handles appears to be engineered better than the original GE door handle that came with this unit that is prone to breaking where the handle meets the top of the fridge cabinet mounting area. It seems to have better reinforcing in this area. Time will tell if it will hold up to the constant use I give it.Would recommend this item for people looking to replace their original equipment GE door handles. Check model # to make sure it fits.

Didn't even last 8 months and cracked again. Unit is in a rented condo that was rented a total of 45 days with this handle installed and it's already breaking again. Don't waste your money as these won't last.

Fit well, easy to install. However there is a very slight color difference between handles and fridge. If I did not pointit out you most likely would not notice. I only needed the lower handle but because of the colordifference I found it less noticeable if I replaced both upper and lower handles.
