Used on my 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid.First, I scoured the Toyota forums looking for answers on how to deal with this common issue of the trunk lid latch cover turning to Bubble Gum. There was lots of posts, and some makeshift fixes suggested using Duct Tape, but nowhere was it mentioned that the Real Thing is available. And reasonably priced.Amazon.ca had it, and sent it fast. The shipping (Prime for me) was included.What you see is what you get. It's all there including the Oh So Necessary off angle screwdriver. A regular one can't do the job.The hardest part was getting all the gummy residue of the old one off completely. This is critical. Has to done for the new one to sit and work properly.The original rectangular switch itself has a groove down the center. Mine was filled completely with the gunk and it wasn't easy to remove it all. But you have to do it. The new cover has a protrusion that fits into that channel.So be aware and expect to get messy hands and black fingernails.
