These are basic, good quality, notebooks. This pack of 24, 6x9 notebooks is a good value for the current list price. The paper is a nice weight. It has a slight slickness and is thicker than standard notebook paper. I also notice that the lines are darker and sharper than my other notebooks. The best feature of these notebooks is that they are not a standard spiral, each loop hooks around the paper so that the spiral can't shift and the paper can't twist. I do find it a little odd that the notebook is reversible, in that the front and back covers are identical, but that's not necessarily bad. These fit perfectly in a standard pilot's knee board.

There's no getting around the fact of receiving half as much as you expected. There are only 40 sheets per notebook. So whoever is responsible for writing the description mistook the number of pages for the total number of sheets. What I initially thought a good bargain isn't one really. Otherwise this would be a nice bulk purchase suitable for many situations.The paper itself is quite nice. It would be better if back covers were thicker and more sturdy.
