These rubber bands are the right size for a 55 gallon trash can, but they dry out if sitting in the sun for any length of time. I use them for collecting yard waste in a 55 gallon plastic trash can, but after taking them on and off when changing bags they usually dry out and break after sitting out in the weather.

Hold the bags in the cans just wish was little wider cause they do seem awful thin

For a while, my church had issues with the trash bag sagging in the trash can. This alleviates all that.

I like using them better that the clips that I was using. The bags stay put in the trash cans

Initially, I was not impressed.However after using them for the last 8 months, I have to retract my original review.These are easy to use. They secure the trash bag in place even when dumping heavy and/or bulky items inside.They still look and function as if they are brand new even after being left out in triple digit heat all summer.They make yard cleanup so much faster and easier. These were an excellent buy.
