They peel up from the sheet and stick on nice and easy! The plastic is clear and it's easy to insert index cards and remove when you need to. Not a great solution if your bins are in an area with a lot of moisture or some water falling on them, but that's to be expected. Just make sure to get the right size. I would probably stick to using these on plastic boxes (or paper/cardboard ones you don't care about, or intend to keep the label holders on permanently), as they can lift the paper off of a cardboard box with them.

Where have these been all my life? :) I am so glad to get these stick on label holders as I have many craft boxes that needed labels to help me find things faster and these can be mounted horizontally or vertically (if I'm trying to go around a plastic storage box handle) I love that they are open slots so that I can change the card if I change my mind.

I was happy that these labels do stick to the "rough" textured totes. Also, you can place them sideways and put the note card in it from the side. The opening and maybe static are tight enough that the card stays inside. My photo is actually a white card on a green tote that has some texture to it.

These storage bin labels have been a lifesaver in my classroom! They stick well, are easy to read, and make it simple to keep all my teaching supplies organized. Now I can find everything quickly, and my storage looks neat and professional. A must-have for any teacher or organized workspace!

I love these! I've tried all sorts of labeling solutions, and they all have problems. Masking tape's adhesive dries up and it falls off. Duct tape's adhesive gets extra gooey and never comes off. These label holders mean it's easy to label all the totes in your garage, AND it's easy to change the label when you reorganize!First off, I ordered the 4x6 size because my index cards are 3x5 so I thought they'd need a little extra room. Turns out the manufacturer already thought of that, and I was overthinking it. Sigh.So the lesson is to order the *same* size as your index cards!I have a few different brands of storage bins, and these 4x6 label holders take up a decent amount of real estate on the front of them! I wish I'd ordered the 3x5 size for that reason.But as far as how easy they are to use, and how practical they are, I give them FULL MARKS! Just be careful when you peel them off to not touch the backs, or you'll have visible fingerprints. It's not hard to handle them from the edges, though. You just position them and press them on, then slide your index card inside.I love how uniform they look on my garage shelves, and how clear and easy they are to read.
