I was tired of using thin rubber bands that snap when you stretch them a little bit. These aren’t cheap but they are strong and work for a lot of purposes.

These are thick and large like you need for securing larger items or stacks of paper, and they flex well- it's not easy to find bands like these at common office supply stores. Unfortunately, I've already had many of them fail (broke along a seam) on items like coffee bags that weren't really stretching them that much. Even after tying the broken band around the bag with a knot, they fail again, breaking in a new location. I would NOT purchase these again and would suggest the manufacturer do a better job of quality control- this is one of the worst failure rates I've even seen on a manufactured bulk product.

Although I haven’t used these outside in cold, they are fat and yet I can stretch them apart well.

Love these wide, large rubber bands. They even came in a very nice storage bag. I plan to use some of them to wrap around items in my freezer instead of using clips that always seem to fall off. Great product!!
