This Notebook is great. It is lightweight and waterproof. Has a scale at the bottom of each page so I can use it for diagrams as well as notes. Holds up well in the weather and comes in several colors.

Water resistant, accepts regulal ink as promised, quite sturdy, sheets are perforated because good luck actually trying to tear out a page nicely, it will either not work, or shred to pieces. So no conplaints, works exactly like the advertisement showed

I use notebooks a lot at work and have gone through many different iterations but this is the best I have found. I don't have to worry if it gets dirty because of the material used. I actually use a smaller rite in the rain notebook for daily notes but use this larger one for things like systems drawings that I need for my job. Already bought a few and have used them and will continue to buy in the future.

Bought this to use as my field book for a field geology class. First 2 labs we have been in pouring rain and the field book has held up great. Pages get wavy when it dries out but still structurally sound. Good performance for price. Would recommend to others doing field geology.

I use the notebook at the pool to record the swims as the coach gives them out, and to record times after each set. I especially like the Soft Cover Notebook for its size and durability. I've had at least three of them over the last couple years - each lasts about 6 months the way I use them. I've even had the book blow into the pool on windy days. No problem. It floats. I write with standard pencil and it works fine. No pen needed. The worst thing that has happened with the complete immersion is some mildew on little used pages - I should have hung it up and separated the individual pages better.No complaints - highly recommend.Image one: current bookImage two: current bookImage three: current book at the pool, printed image with water drops and local insects. These are the best notebooks for dirty jobs. I worked in a high heat and often humid mechanical environment. It could be dirty, wet, with mechanical fluids abounding. This notebook can handle it all. I have poured water on it and it takes it like a champ. Sometimes pens can smear on it if it's a gel pen or similar, so try to use ball point or the Rite in the Rain pen.

I love these notebooks. Great for the outdoors and (my main use) gym note books.I have done CrossFit for about 4 years and recently switched to Olympic Lifting. The page size of the notebook is perfect for a page a day use. The waterproof pages are perfect for hot, sweaty, humid environments. Perfect when paired with the 1.1mm pencil and the fabric cover.
