I love how easy this is to toss in a bag and take it wherever needed. I play with a marching band, and to make our music fit into the flip folders we have to cut them down from full sheets. This thing is great for that, giving clean, smooth cuts, and I can throw it in my instrument case and let others use it at band without it being obtrusive. Plus, because it's fairly cheap, I'm not afraid of it getting broken, bothe because it's easily replaced AND because it genuinely feels like good quality.

I ordered this to replace my older paper cutter. The big difference being with my older one the blade was right at the edge, not on the actual surface of the cutter…so that’s taking some getting used too.It doesn’t cut thicker paper as well. The biggest issue is that I have to use the measurements (alone) to line the paper up. I can’t put the paper right up against either end to line the paper up straight…the edges have a slight curve(?!)On my old cutter I can put right up against the edge to make sure the paper is straight. But if I do this I get a 1mm less of length on one end.This is great if I wasn’t needed for precision, but I’m cutting out cards and layering so it’s obvious in general when something isn’t cut straight.Again this would be fine for anything non-precision.

Picked this up as our menus are A4 sheet size, but being in the US, the paper is 8.5"x11". This lines up paper and cuts it straight in seconds. There are other lines if desiring to cut at an angle, but this does exactly what I need it to do quickly and effectively. Blowing through 20 sheets of the same cut (one or a few at a time) can be done in no time. Recommended.

This cutter is easy to use, compact, the blade is easily replaceable, and the cut is crisp and clean. It is a lightweight, basic cutter, good for a few pieces of paper at a time. Great to have handy in the craft room for all the random little cutting that needs to be done.

This is okay to use, if you had to. It's flimsy, and you really need to push down on it to cut. It wouldn't cut anything thick. There's no guard on the blade, and the apparatus where the blade sits freely opens, so you have to be careful not to cut yourself. I would say you could put this in a backpack and use it as a portable cutter, but you'd have to be cautious that it wouldn't break.

This paper cutter has been great for scrap booking. I'm able to cut any kind of paper, including glossy photos, and it's easy to keep my cuts neat and straight. And it's long enough to accommodate papers up to 12" but still small enough to store easily. I'd recommend for anyone into crafting.
