1st grader is using it for homeschool writing and spelling practice. It’s just a tidge on the large size of what he could probably handle as far as letter formation, but that’s a good thing. I like the red base line, which ensures he doesn’t lose track (as often) when he’s going down the page.

I have kids in K, 1st and 2nd grade who are homeschooled. I bought this notebook specifically for penmanship practice. We will not be keeping the notebook once they use it up, so the quality of the notebook met my needs.It was pretty sturdy for the price. I like the thicker cover pages. Helps keep the paper in tact when the kids throwing it into their desks.

My 7yo, 1st grade son, needed the primary lines a little longer. He hates the composition binding we had found, and requested the spiral bound of this one. He loves it!!! We’ve noticed, the more comfortable he is with his materials, the faster and more efficiently he excels in his learning. Thank you for making options.

While the pages are a little thin, the lines are perfectly spaced for beginner writers. My 4 year old does not have an issue, but the pages are not quite as thick as regular lined paper.
