purchased this part for a vacuum cleaner a friend wanted fixed. I would say NEVER use offbrand parts when fixing something for someone else, when it quits, it’s your fault and they’ll blame it on you. If you install OE parts, they’re probably the best and at least you can’t be blamed for buying some cheap aftermarket item. That’s another great thing about amazon, they do sell name brand parts, even if a lot of their stuff is off brand.
