An attempted theft left my wiring harness melted. Grrrr...But this part was a perfect fit, as my truck has the three little Theftlock wires at the top of the switch, which, I believe, is unique to 1998-1999 trucks.Pro tip: The torx on the top is very difficult to access, so, I used a 3.5mm mini socket from a glasses repair kit.

I thought i needed it for my truck to work but turns out it was a fuse that was blown, LOL, either way it didn't really fit and my truck was a 1997 Chevy OBS C1500

Great switch, connector quality is as paid for but the internal cam switch failed after a week and truck wouldn't crank but would power on. And got stuck to not turn the key twice. But other than that fixed my voltage fluctuation issue
