Great item. Works for both safety harness for Treestand hunters and Saddle hunters. One down side, when using for saddle hunting, bridge rope has a tendency to dig into your kidneys making it rather uncomfortable for long stands

My husband ordered this Kalkal Tree Stand Harness for the upcoming hunting season, opting for the package that included four climbing sticks and a platform. This was his first experience with a tree saddle system, and while it required a bit of a learning curve, he found it to be a very effective hunting method. The system offers a high degree of versatility, allowing for hunting in a wider variety of trees, including those with numerous limbs. Its compact design makes it easy to pack and transport, even in a backpack. Additionally, the system is significantly quieter than traditional climbing sticks, promoting stealthy movement in the tree.However, my husband found the saddle system to be slightly less comfortable than his traditional climber, although he believes this will improve with more use. The initial setup also takes longer than with traditional climbing sticks.Overall, my husband is satisfied with the Kalkal Tree Stand Harness. While there is a learning curve and some minor drawbacks, he believes it offers significant advantages in terms of versatility and stealth. He recommends using knee pads and a lineman's rope for added comfort and efficiency during setup.

If you are looking for a comfortable safety harness to start out saddle hunting. This is the perfect way to start. Compared to all others at this price point it easily outperforms in terms of value for money. The build quality is surprisingly good, all of the necessary safety ropes are also included making this the most affordable safety harness on the market in my opinion.

The kit comes with everything you need to get started. I bought the package that was recommended that had 4 climbing sticks and a platform.This is the first time I used one and it wasn’t hard to figure out. It makes a difference how high you tie off on the tree and how high on the rope you anchor. Try lots of positions as even a few inches made a big difference to the comfort.The pros- I was able to set up in some smaller trees even if they had lots of limbs. It gives you lot optionsIt’s easy to carry. I pack it all in a back pack with no problemsIt’s so quiet and easy to change positions.The Cons- it’s not as comfortable as my climberIt takes me longer to set up but I really think that will improve the more I use it.One last thing I suggest is get knee pads and a lineman’s rope for when you’re setting up your sticks and stand. Neither are necessary but make things easier.

quality seems excellent and has everything you need included. Have not tried it yet in the field but looks like it will work perfectly.
