I’ve used a lot of jute twine over the years, and it’s pretty much the same everywhere, including this one. I will say that among the mild variations I’ve seen, this would qualify as some of the thinner but stronger jute twine.I recommend it!

This twine does its job—plain, simple, and pleasantly rustic. I’ve used it for everything from tying up climbing plants to giving my gift wrap a Pinterest-y flair (minus the stress). It holds knots well and hasn’t snapped on me yet, even when wrangling overzealous vines. My only complaint? It has a bit of that earthy “barn” smell fresh out of the package, but it fades quickly. Overall, it’s reliable, versatile, and makes me feel mildly crafty without actually being crafty.

I use jute twine mainly for tying plants (to stakes) in our vegetable garden but occasionally for other things as well. This twine is made quite well and to be honest is better made than the last stuff I purchased ( I still have some to compare) at the local hardware store.This twine is weaved very evenly and has a consistent diameter! So far I have not seen any of the typical variations in diameter that I usually see. Many of these twines vary from skinny to excessively bulky areas that make it kind of difficult to tie slip knots, because the knot gets hung up on those bulky areas. I must say I am quite happy with this product, well done!

I recently ordered & received this 328’ roll of jute twine by Foihukelim. It’s definitely a “thinner” twine than you might be used to (description states it’s 2mm in diameter), but I have to say, I find it much easier to work with compared to some other thicker twines. The twine has a nice “finish” to it as I’m not worried about getting twine splinters from it like you might experience with rougher twine. I use this mostly for crafting, gift wrapping & gardening & thus far, it’s really performed well! The twine itself is uniform in diameter throughout the roll & I haven’t noticed any odd smells coming from it. It cuts nicely, but doesn’t fray immediately, which I prefer. It will fray if you “fluff it” a bit, but it nice to have the option of either fraying the ends or not. The value is huge! For the amount you receive (328’) given its current price point (May 2025), it’s a definite bargain. Even if you have other twine in your arsenal, it’s worth it to buy this one given the value & nice finish.

Fairly strong - even though I plan to use it for decorative wrapping, I think this can actually hold up to actually tie some small things down.

I've only had this for a short time, and I thought the string would not be thick enough, but I took a chance and used it for a makeshift fishing line on the end of a stick, (it' nice to be in Tennessee). I wanted to make a point to my friends and used this string to go fishing with and caught 3 fish with it. Small but within limits and since then I have also used this to dry some cloths. Very functional, and has a 1001 uses, including but not limited to, tinder for a fire, perimeter warning defense, using tin cans, cloths line, but you might have to double up on heavy wet cloths, hanging a picture, tripline, lanyard, etc. A + on cost, durability and ease of use.

This is nice, strong twine. Sometimes twine is thin and weak, but I can't pull this apart. Other than that it's twine - not much more to say.

I'm very pleased with the high quality of this jute twine. The twist of it, if that's what you call it, is very tight and it feels like it's very sturdy and will hold up under tension when using it to tie up vegetable plants or harvest time corn stalks, etc.
