The loss of a loved one is not something we "get over." This journal has clear instructions, thoughtful prompts, and inspiring entries to reflect on cherished memories and navigate loss. It's a heartfelt gift, featuring a red cardinal on the linen hardcover and presented in a beautiful gift box.
  • 4 Sections: 38 Topics, 4 Inspiring Entries, 1 Feelings Chart - The journal features four sections of prompts at the beginning: A Proper Goodbye, Putting Feelings Into Words (including a practical feelings chart), Memories Become Stories, and Love Passed On. It offers diverse thoughtful reflections on memories, love, gratitude, and the enduring impact of a loved one's legacy. These prompts inspire individuals to delve into their emotions and memories, fostering a reflective and coping experience.
  • Red Cardinal Design Conveys Comfort, Love, and Hope - The red foil debossed cardinal on the cover symbolizes hope and love, serving as a comforting reminder of the enduring bond with those who have left this world. This design makes it an ideal memorial or sympathy gift, conveying a sense of remembrance, love, and the belief that the departed soul is still spiritually present.

This grief journal is a great way to help someone through the grieving process. It's not just blank pages to write on, it has prompts, tips and suggested topics. It helps you to bring your feelings out and process the pain. It does also have a lot of blank space to write down stories and memories of your loved one. The book has a hard cover with a red cardinal on it and looks very nice. This book would make a great gift for anyone that has lost a loved one.

Got this for my best friend who lost her dad less than two years ago. She literally burst into tears when she saw how pretty and thoughtful it was. I was worried it was going to be subpar but she opened it and we looked at it together and it’s gorgeous and so helpful for someone who doesn’t really know where to start processing their grief. The prompts are there but not overbearing so you don’t feel like you’re being forced to feel your grief in a certain way or a certain path. I like that it just gently nudges you in the right direction to start talking about your grief yourself. Definitely something that will be a better hit with people who enjoy writing, of course, but it’s really nice for everyone, and made beautifully to boot.

This is a really nice journal that has prompts that are emotionally gentle yet intelligent and profound that help you sort through your grief. This makes a great gift for someone who is processing their grief and in therapy or helps them begin that journey of grief in a way that isn't so daunting. It's well made and beautifully designed.

Someone in my life lost a family member and has been struggling with grief over it- I know they can work through the grief, but it is so difficult for anyone to find time and space to address it when life is really busy and demanding. This journal gives them a chance to sit down for a little while, reflect, think, and most importantly, FEEL. It's a lovely tool to make time and space with, to work through grief. As a gift, it was a gesture they really appreciated, and so I can definitely say it is good for gifting.

In the past 5 years, I've lost my brother, my best friend, and my dad, so I was really intrigued by this because frankly, most grief stuff doesn't do much for me and I wanted to see if this would. The way this presents grief and the gentleness and self-care it encourages is actually really nice. I also like the fact that I can write down memories and things but also just journal when I need it, and since I plan on using this for all of my losses, I can include all of my loved ones in this.

I thought this would be a prompt book but it's just a well made journal.
