Part is not the same as the picture, had to put spacers under gas tank so vavle wouldn't restrict throttle linkage.

THIS ITEM IS MADE OF THE WEAKEST POT IRON CASTING I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISSFORTUNE TO HAVE TO WORK WITH. WHEN REMOVING THE BROKEN VALVE FROM THE GENERATOR GAS TANK IT BROKE INTO MANY PARTS. I HAD TO DRILL OUT THE THREADED END OF THE VALVE THAT WENT INTO THE TANK BECAUSE THE THREADS WERE SEALED WITH A PERMANENT THREAD SEAL PRODUCT. ((YES, I TRIED HEAT. THE TANK WAS DRY AND WELL VENTED. THE RESULT WAS BURNT PAINT)) I THEN HAD TO SLEEVE AND TAP THE SLEEVE TO ACCEPT THE VALVE. THE VALVE COMES WITH A RUBBER GASKET/SEAL. THERE IS NO NEED FOR A LIQUID, PAST, TAPE OR OTHER TYPE OF THREAD SEALER. SUBMITTED BY AN RETIRED TOOL AND DIE MAKER.

works fine 1st one was broken because of shipping (although the the forgien made alum had a large part of brakage)
