Overall, these pads are a good size & take ink well without bleeding. I prefer a smaller-sized pad like this vs a traditional notebook size. So these will work well for my needs. If I were to make any design changes on the product (although this would probably affect the price) it would be thicker pages & using a heavy piece of backing cardboard instead of flimsy card stock. This would allow you to write holding the pad vs having to lay it on a table. The cardboard on the back is the same super-thin cardboard as on the front cover. This modification I would say is even more important than replacing with thicker pages.

Totally average steno pads... the covers are not thick or sturdy, just a floppy piece of cardstock on both front and back. The paper is fairly thin so if you are using pen, expect bleedthrough - normal for steno pads. Cute colors and easy to have a different one for each need - great bulk option!
