I like the material on the outside of this notebook it looks like denim and kind of feels like a cross between denim and linen. It appears to be well-made, has a nice pouch in the back for carrying sticky notes or whatever along with a pen loop for your pen. Also has two ribbons to help you keep your place in the notebook. The pages are thick and more white than most notebooks for journaling. Overall I feel it is a bit expensive at $14 even with the 20% off coupon they’re offering right now. This Cagie journal comes as a surprise to me at this price ($9.99 as of this writing). This has a cloth-like cover, very well bound, and truly lays flat without concern for breaking the binding. To get this quality at $10 is fairly unusual. This Cagie journal also features something that is a favorite of mine and adds cream to the top: rounded corners (!) ... this includes the book itself as well as the paper. This is a super journal for $10 and very much looks and feels like one much more expensive. Paper quality is 100gsm and is perfect for normal writing use. I highly recommend giving this Cagie journal a try.

I appreciate a well-made journal and this one qualifies as such. I've given several gifts from this particular brand, and no one has been disappointed yet. If this one as well received, I'll certainly purchase another to give to another friend, and I feel as if this continues by women as well, even though the description says men.

This notebook is fantastic no matter your gender. It's very unassuming, with a nice looking faux... fabric? cover. It's very soft to the touch on the cover, and inside the paper is a heavier weight than looseleaf or what you generally find in spiral notebooks or your average printer paper. It's a subtly off-white color paper, with a weather marker, day of the week, memo number, and date. I'm very pleased with it and now I just need to remember to use it regularly :)

This is a nicely bound notebook and it's just the right size to toss in a tote bag. The pages are plenty thick enough. Nothing to complain about. My wife likes it.

This journal is the real deal! Great quality and craftsmanship. The binding and cover are perfectly fit, stitched, and assembled. The pages are thick and the lines the perfect shade of gray, not harsh but still defined. I love the extra touch at the top of the page, where the journaled can record the weather and pertinent info. I've so far used it to keep track of notes and ideas for college classes, and a dedicated space to record what project or course is associated with a particular page is incredibly helpful. I absolutely recommend this journal for all you avid scribblers!

I gave this journal as a gift to my husband. He likes to carry a notebook with him to jot down ideas and lists; most of the time, they look tattered long before he runs out of pages. He has been carrying this journal for weeks and it is holding up well. He is impressed that the pages are still well attached in the binding and the cover looks almost new.

This is a great little notebook for note taking or journaling. It would make a great gift for a friend who likes to write. I carry it with me most of the time and use it to take notes. The paper is a nice thickness, and I love the band that holds the notebook closed when I'm carrying it around!
