This is a cute decor idea for a book rest that you can personalize with your own picture. It acts as a cup holder and pen holder too. The picture holder is held on with magnets... holds up good. It's easy to put together and is small enough to put on an end table or smaller nightstand.

I'd been seeing these everywhere in late 2024 and was pretty surprised no one thought to get me one for Christmas, but I took matters into my own hands and am so glad I did!I was very excited when it arrived and I'm sorry to say I did not think to take a picture of how the pieces arrived before I put it together. It arrives in 3 wooden pieces so it can ship flat, along with 2 wooden pegs to put the book holder pieces together and 2 metal screws to attach the book holder to the base with the enclosed allen wrench. I had a nanosecond of panic because there were no instructions in the box, but then I remembered I possess a brain and it was pretty clear how it went. Just remember to put the side with the magnetic picture frame towards the pencil ledge. I tried it backwards initially (I didn't say I possessed the best brain!) but quickly realized the screw holes didn't make sense that way. Even with my learning curve I had the while thing ready to go within 4 minutes of opening the box, so it is very user friendly.If I were to redesign this bedside caddy I would make the cup holder a little bigger to accommodate all my favorite mugs (the ones that hold the most tea!) None of my larger cups fit within the circle, but they can fit OVER it just like setting it directly on the bedside table or wherever you're putting this. The standard cups fit comfortably. As for books, this can hold hard covers and quality paperbacks without tipping, but they will hang off the edge significantly or be on top of your beverage. A mass market paperback is definitely a better fit, but I like big hooks and will not let a small piece of wood tell me what to read! Honestly, it's very adaptable and the biggest challenge I'm going to have with it is deciding what picture I actually want to put in the frame. I'm leaning towards a printed out book meme because I don't have photos of anyone I would want to constantly smack with a book. The customization option there is really nice and one more reason this book caddy would make an EXCELLENT gift to any book lover. You could stick a gift card to a book store in that frame and win the holidays.Alternatively, you could put a cute picture of yourself in it so you know they'll always see your face right before bed...as they smack it with the book they're reading

I've been looking for a book rest for a while now, and I didn't love that many of them had quotes or bookish phrases etched into them. I love that this one has the frame option, and I can personalize it as I choose.This was very easy to put together; it came with all the pieces necessary and was built in less than 5 minutes. The sleek design and neutral, bamboo color will go with any home style. I love that it will be useful and look great in whatever room I choose to put it in!

This arrived with four pieces flat packed in plastic wrap. Two dowels, two Philips screws and a very small hex key type screwdriver were included. No assembly instructions were included, nor were any of the parts labelled. The website shows one photograph of supposed assembly instructions, but they are incomplete and do not show key steps. However, it did assemble quickly, the pre-drilled holes were accurate, and it looks and feels solid. I think I would have liked to use wood glue, though, to assure no wobbling with book and device weights on it.The cup area is not lined, so a coaster or silicone piece cut to fit would be helpful. The dimensions shown on the web page are accurate. Overall, the look is basic bamboo. There are no feet or surface protectors on the bottom.The acrylic piece has four very small embedded magnets in the corners, and this does hold a single piece of paper or card stock securely. It's a stretch to call it a picture frame.Overall, this piece does what it claims to do.

I was so excited to receive this item. I'm an avid book reader and wanted this for my new bookshelf. I am just waiting for the perfect candle to put in the hole and a photo of my daughter for the frame part. For now, she is decorated with my current read- Queen of Shadows. ❤️ This was super easy to put together and I'm impressed with how nice the quailty is! Great value for the money! Design is creative and a great addition to my bookshelf!

This book holder requires a bit of assembly. It is easy though, and even comes with a screwdriver. My only complaint is that it doesn't have any feet. It should have little rubber feet or something to keep it from sliding around on a desk, or bed, etc. Other than that it is great.My favorite part about this item is the magnetic picture frame. What a cool feature. Make switching pictures a breeze. I also like having a spot to keep my glasses so I don’t have to look for them all the time.

This is perfect for any reader and book lover!! it’s easy to assemble and it looks amazing! the quality is chefs kiss and I love that you can add a picture for a personal touch. I love mine sooo much.

My friend has a cabin this shape, so I had to get it for them!A little fiddly to put together, and doesn't hold a standard photo size. But otherwise, it's great, and they loved it!
