These have to be the most fragile mailers around. When bending them into shape, 9 times out of 10 they rip at the seams. I have been having to use a lot of extra tape to keep these together. Other sellers have much more sturdy mailers. This will be the one and only time I purchase these period.

These boxes are very sturdy. Much stronger than other vinyl shipping boxes I have used. Good value, I recommend them.

I just recently came across my entire collection of older 45 records. I didn't realize that I still had so many in my collection, including a huge number of records for two songs cut and released by good friends in the 70s. I am still in touch with one former band member and wanted to ship him the majority of the copies I had of his record, but didn't know the best way to ship. That was, until I came across these shipping mailers, specifically for 45s. Who knew there was even such a thing? The mailers are made from sturdy cardboard and will allow me to ship the large number that I need to ship in two or three mailers. I have not yet put the packages together to know how many I can put in eacy mailer, but I do know that they will be protected and will arrive unscathed, thanks to these perfect mailers. Recommend.

I like that these are thicker cardboard than many of the extra cheap mailers. They have two perforations for both small and larger size shipments. At almost a dollar apiece, they better be strong! The Fragile stickers are a nice touch. Recommended!

I'm a professional vinyl record dealer, and have used literally dozens of different brands and types of cardboard boxes for my shipping over the years. I typically go through a thousand or more boxes annually, so I think I can speak with confidence about the relative merits of different types of boxes. Fortunately, I get to review many different boxes every year through the Amazon Vine program, and lately I've seen a trend - lightweight cardboard. This might (and I emphasize MIGHT) save a few pennies in shipping costs, but the tradeoff isn't worth it.The boxes are scored for easy folding into one of two sizes, and can accommodate 1-2 singles (with a cardboard insert, NOT provided with the boxes) or the larger selection that will allow me to pack 5-6 singles. They do fold easily, but that's not necessarily a good thing. The boxes I prefer are a thicker, stiffer cardboard construction that provide additional padding than these. There's not anything horrible about these, they probably will be sufficient for most shipments as long as you use at least 1, or better 2 pieces of cardboard inserts, but for my money I'll stick with a thicker box at roughly the same cost which I also buy here on Amazon. Not recommended.
