Omittitter did not read the receiver, returned and replaced the unit, still did not work. Purchased from another seller and that one did work.

was sent one from them, it did not work-- they sent another, it did not work either--have to drive 80 miles to send it back (40 each way) --price of gas is high--had ice maker checked, it works fine, just will not stop making ice when ice bucket is full--the red light would not come on--put the old one back in and the light flashes showing a bad sensor even when I hold the other sensor door flap closed

Purchase to replace faulty sensors in a Kenmore Elite 406.46023800. Did not work and trying uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Purchased replacement parts from a different vendor to see if those worked and they did. May have been one-off bad boards.

Out of the box, it was obvious that the connector pieces were poorly installed. It was a real struggle to get this installed. The fridge has short wires and the misalignment of the pins and this connector made it extra hard.Once connected, the either the emitter wasn't sending signal or the receiver wasn't picking it up. I couldn't figure out which. I verified all 11 pins were making proper contact and that the boards had power. Bottom line, one of the boards was DOA. These boards were obviously never tested or inspected at the factory.
