I got these along with another pack of bands from a different company. The difference in thickness and strength between the two brands is pretty obvious- these are about 2x as thick .Definitely worth it

Little pricey. Pkg of 40 assorted sizes. Appears that they will work much better & last really long, maybe indefinitely as compared to regular rubber bands.

I am willing to pay a little extra for rubber bands that are large and sturdy enough to do the job.It is high praise for me to say these don't annoy me.They don't break when I'm putting them around something. They don't get brittle and fragile after a couple weeks. They're not so narrow they incise a line in what they're strung around.I find a dozen of these fellows do more useful work than a bag of a hundred mixed- (mostly tiny-) size rubber threads that serve no functiion at all. They also come in pretty colors.

We love to use the large ones to hold beach towels on chairs and to hold kitchen garbage bags on the trash cans. Small and medium ones work great on visors on car to hold passes and such. So many uses!

Silicone bands are the best value over rubber, by far! Unlike latex rubber bands, which break down and fail (crumble) due to the rubber polymer crystallizing when exposed to oxygen (especially ozone), ultraviolet light and/or heat, while silicone is largely unfazed by these common environmental issues. This 40 piece set includes useful sizes - 3" x 0.2" (15 pcs), 5.5" x 0.4" (15 pcs), 8" x 0.4" (10 pcs). All of them stretch to over 2.5 times their relaxed length.the silicone bands cost 3 to 4 times latex bands but last up to 10 times longer. What's not to like?

When stretched to near the limit, they change colour from, for example red, to white, but the color come back when they relax, and don't appear to be permanently affected. They feel like they will last awhile, better than natural rubber. These are my first impressions.I'll update if things change.
