My daughter received one of these as a party favor from a birthday party. She filled it with drawings over the next week and I was surprised how well it held up to her alcohol markers and her heavy coloring. I asked and got link to these books from the party parent, and ordered her a whole set. We do use a piece of card stock between the pages to prevent her pencil pressure from marking the other pages, but the paper is thick enough you cannot see through it, and the marker does not spread or bleed. It can be seen from the other side of the page, but I’d expect that from any book like this that isn’t specifically made for alcohol markers. This set was inexpensive and has given her limitless possibilities for creativity. It was also super-cute when received as a party favor with a pack of colored pencils and some stickers.

These are great for keeping around for random note-taking, and to keep one in your pocket for when you have great ideas that need to be written down.

I'm very satisfied with my Oucaru 16PCS Mini Notebooks Bulk, 3.5" x 5.5", Brown, 60 Pages Lined Paper Small Pocket Notebooks. These notebooks have multiple options available. You can get them with lined paper or blank paper. You can get them all in brown, or in 16 colors. You can order a smaller package of just 16 notebooks, or a larger package of 32 or 64 notebooks. In the bigger packs, the price per notebook goes down, but even in the small pack the price is very reasonable.A lot of people just take notes on their phones these days, but sometimes that's not convenient. I'm a big fan of paper and pen! I think these notebooks could be used to keep track of my daily diet. Or I could keep one by my bed for when I wake up at night with a great idea! I can keep one in my purse for writing down phone numbers or directions to someone's house. And of course, I can hand one to a fussy child to draw in when I need to keep him or her entertained. You don't want to do that with your phone!The notebooks are slim, sturdy, well-made and a convenient size. I'll be buying them again.

I've gotten into the habit of carrying a smaller journal wherever I go. It's nice to know I can write whenever I feel inspired or when I really want to just get certain thoughts or feelings down and I like being able to carry these words around in something a little more substantial/tangible than my phone. This was my solution and these little notebooks didn't disappoint. They're quite durable/well-made, and I like that I can either leave them the simple way they are or decorate and customize them as needed. These fit perfectly in even my smallest purse. I do wish they weren't lined or the lines were smaller but that's a personal issue, not a fault of the product.

These are a bit too small for serious journaling, but are great for taking quick notes or writing down ideas or to-do lists. The notebooks are flexible with nice stitching on the binding and are quite thin, so they slip into a pocket easily. They are wide ruled, which some people might find to be too wide.
